KidSuper Studios is partnering with Puma to follow up its 2021 collaborative capsule, which features footwear and apparel. While we’ve seen classic Puma models get the KidSuper treatment as part of this new collection, LaMelo Ball, one of basketball's most electric talents, sees his third signature shoe, the MB.03, transformed through the creative lens of KidSuper Studios.
The KidSuper Studios x Puma MB.03 distinguishes itself with a vibrant design that reflects the creative ethos of KidSuper Studios. The sneaker boasts a premium pink leather base adorned with distinctive blue face designs unmistakably KidSuper. Complementing this, pink suede overlays on the mudguard, vamp, and eyestays add texture and depth, while blue accents on the branding elements, including LaMelo's personal and Puma logos, add contrast and highlight the collaborative effort. These logos — RARE, 1 OF 1, and Phoenix — are strategically placed on the tongue and heel. Functionality is not sacrificed for style, as the MB.03 is equipped with a pink foam midsole engineered for on-court performance with Nitro Foam cushioning. The innovative design extends to the outsole, where tonal rubber segments extend up the upper sides, offering enhanced grip and durability.
The KidSuper Studios x Puma MB.03 will release on May 9, 2024, through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men's and GS sizing, men's pairs will reetail for $135.
