The collaboration between Kiko Kostadinov and Asics has been a driving force in catapulting the Japanese sportswear brand into the limelight of the fashion-forward sneaker community. Known for his avant-garde approach to design, Kostadinov has brought his unique aesthetic to various Asics models and played a pivotal role in guiding the brand's SportStyle division. With the successful launch of the Gel-Terrain and the upcoming Gel-Quantum Kinetic under his CURATORIAL Collection, the third and final installment has been revealed with the UB6-S GT-2160 Pack.

This latest collaboration reimagines the GT-2160, a model fans cherish for its performance capabilities and timeless design. The pack introduces three colorways: Grey Floss Brown Storm, Mantle Green Grape, and Arctic Blue Carbon, each meticulously crafted to reflect Kostadinov's exploration of contrasting material environments. The design concept delves into the interplay between different textures and materials, such as lucent gloss and soft versus hard frames, resulting in a sneaker that stands out for its complexity and attention to detail.

The sole unit of each sneaker in the pack remains faithful to Asics' heritage of providing superior comfort and support, featuring a tonal foam midsole equipped with the brand's signature Gel cushioning technology. A durable rubber outsole complements this in a tonal hue.

The Kiko Kostadinov x Asics UB6-S GT-2160 Pack is loaded up to release on March 8, 2024, through Asics Japan, while a wider release through Asics US and select retailers has not been announced.
