Korn and adidas are two names that resonate deeply with fans of the iconic nu metal band. Not only did Korn pay homage to the brand with their track "a.d.i.d.a.s.," but they also wore the brand's attire religiously during live performances and in their music videos. The 2023 collaboration between the band and the sportswear giant was a fitting tribute to their shared history, producing a blend of Y2K-influenced footwear and co-branded apparel that sent fans and sneaker enthusiasts into the past. Now, as we approach 2024, a second part of this capsule has been teased by the band on Instagram.
“For those of you who were unable to get your hands on S1, stay tuned, there is a 2nd drop coming in early 2024,” read the caption on the band’s IG story.
The first collaboration gave us renditions of the Campus 00s and the Super Modified, both capturing the spirit of the early 2000s. As for the next installment, though exact specifics remain under wraps, there's speculation and hope in the air. Expect to witness another range of Y2K-era-inspired adidas sneakers bathed in subdued tones, partnered with apparel bearing the unmistakable co-branding of Korn and adidas.
The Korn x adidas Collection Part 2 will release in 2024 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. As of now, pricing information has yet to be announced.
