Despite criticisms over its approach to microtransactions and incremental updates, the NBA 2K franchise is one of the best-selling video games year-over-year. In-game, every major sportswear brand featured with signature footwear is sported on the virtual court. This game includes Puma and Scoot Henderson’s Puma Scoot Zeros, the first signature sneaker for the third overall pick in last year’s NBA draft.
While we’ve seen the OG Georgia Peach colorway make its way to the game, and hopefully, we will see the Northern Lights and Cheetos collaborate in The Rec; the gaming franchise is officially partnering with Puma to craft a collaborative colorway in real life. Puma’s last collab with 2K saw the release of the NBA 2K x Puma Court Rider, with the first 21 gamers who selected a Puma endorsement deal in the game’s MyCareer mode receiving a pair for free IRL. A retail release did go down for this pair.
The NBA 2K x Puma Scoot Zeros features a sleek design, embracing a palette of black and grey hues across its upper. The design incorporates textured wavy overlays on the toe, complemented by a solid black midfoot and tongue. The grey Puma formstrip adds a contrasting element, reinforcing the sneaker’s structure. The collaboration includes the NBA 2K and Scoot Henderson logos on the respective sneakers and lime green accents on the sockliner. The sole unit showcases a striking gradient from yellow to lime green, encasing the PROFOAM EVA cushioning.
The NBA 2K x Puma Scoot Zeros is set to release on April 4, 2024 via Puma App Early Access. Available in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $110. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the NBA 2K x Puma Scoot Zeros and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
