It should come as no surprise that New Balance's 1906R is currently one of the brand's most popular models. First released in 2009, the Y2K-inspired silhouette was officially brought back last year, and the sneaker game hasn't been the same since. If for whatever reason you still don't have a pair in your daily rotation, perhaps the freshly-revealed New Balance 1906R "Burgundy" will change your mind.
Here to spice things up, this 1906R boasts a rich burgundy mesh base that's versatile and breathable at the same time. Complementary leather panels wrap around the toe area and upper, and these are all accented with white outlines for a pop of contrast that is sure to turn heads. To the sides, you'll find the signature "N" logo which works in tandem with the eyelets to form the N-LOCK lacing system. This is all dipped in a plum hue, with additional purple tones making their way towards the glossy heel counter. As if that wasn't tasty enough, it's paired with a cream ABZORB midsole, coming together for a combination that makes us long for the warmer seasons ahead.
Expected to release sometime in 2023, the New Balance 1906R Burgundy will be available in men's sizes via New Balance and select retailers with a retail price of $150.
