Even though the New Balance 991 celebrated its 20th birthday two years ago, it looks like the party's only just getting started. Following the release of the special "Made in England" edition as well as the JJJJound collaboration which sold out in a split second, the Boston-based sportswear company has now taken the wraps off of the New Balance 991 Made In UK "Ice Blue." Expected to drop as part of a much wider collection, make sure you keep it locked to find out everything that there is to know.
Working on top of a light grey ballistic mesh base, leather details make their way throughout in a darker shade, while the rest of the upper is overlaid by ice blue suede panels. New Balance's signature "N" logo adorns the lateral and medial sidewalls, while additional branding is finely stitched across the tongue and heel. All of this sits on top of a chunky ABZORB midsole in white, and it's finalized with a slick black rubber outsole, rounding off the design.
Made in NB's Flimby factories in England, the New Balance 991 Made In UK Ice Blue is set to release sometime in 2023 and it will be available in men's sizes via New Balance and select online and in-store locations worldwide with a retail price of $220.
