The New Balance 991 has earned a reputation for combining superior comfort with a timeless aesthetic, making it a staple in New Balance's collection. The model is even more cherished for its Made in UK construction, which will now arrive in new colorway. Paying homage to the deep blue sea, the New Balance 991 Made in UK Pacific echoes the serene hues of the ocean.
This Made in UK rendition of the New Balance 991 features an upper with premium pigskin suede overlays, a mesh base layer, and leather toe box and collar overlays. Most of the pigskin suede, save for the black heel, takes on beautiful aqua-green shade mirroring the depths of the Pacific. Silver-grey leather is then used for the vamp, toe box, tongue, collar, and heel. The "N" logo shines in a 3M finish with white trim matching the mesh base. Underfoot features a two-tone white and grey midsole and a black and grey outsole.
The New Balance 991 Made in UK Pacific has already been released through select EU retailers, while a global launch through New Balance and other retailers will follow on July 20, 2023. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $260.
