As we approach the end of 2023, the brand is set to release the 991 in a stunning Urban Winter edition, combining tradition with contemporary style. Despite the introduction of the 991's second version, the original silhouette remains a favorite, continually evolving with fresh designs and colorways.
This new iteration of the New Balance 991 embodies a harmonious blend of seasonal colors and premium materials. The silhouette showcases clean white hues dominating the upper's premium pigskin suede overlays, lending the sneaker a crisp and polished look. Complementing this are the rich brown nubuck elements adorning the toebox, collar, and tongue, adding a touch of warmth and depth to the overall design. The midfoot features the iconic “N” logo in black, creating a striking contrast, while similar black accents are seen on the tongue’s New Balance branding and the “991” text on the heel. Aesthetically pleasing and functionally robust, the design is rounded off with a foam midsole in a complementary cream finish.
The New Balance 991 Made in UK Urban Winter will release December 7, 2023, through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $260.
