In the world of basketball sneakers, New Balance has carved a niche for itself by offering innovative and stylish footwear. Although the brand’s signees may not rival the likes of Nike or adidas, solid players like Kawahi Leonard and Jamal Murray have continuously taken the court in NB designs. For its latest iteration of the New Balance TWO WXY V3, the Boston-based brand draws inspiration from Murray's signature spin move for the “Spin Cycle."
Retaining its performance basketball-ready build, the New Balance TWO WXY V3 Spin Cycle features a combination of blue, white, and green across its design. Blue accents adorn the midfoots TPU overlay and portions of the “N” logo while green pops along the sockliner and top portion of the aforementioned New Balance logo. Atop the tongue sits a “Spin Cycle” branded tag that resembles the button you’d find on a washing machine. Underfoot sits NB’s FuelCell cushioning system with ABZORB technology and a grippy rubber outsole coming in white and semi-translucent blue, respectively.
The New Balance TWO WXY V3 Spin Cycle dropped today, May 1, and is currently available to purchase through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Priced at $120, the sneaker comes in men’s sizing.
