It's official: The Nike Air Max Penny 1 is making a comeback like no other. After checking out the "All-Star," "Rattan," and "Tiger Stripes" just last month, we're now taking a look at the Nike Air Max Penny 1 "White Pure Platinum," and it's as clean as it gets. Taking on Penny Hardaway's widely-celebrated signature silhouette from 1995, your summer rotation is going to thank you for this.
Boasting a multi-material construction, this Air Max Penny 1 is crafted from a combination of mesh, leather, and suede. Dipped in a clean white color palette, crisp pure platinum accents make their way throughout, adorning the heel, sidewalls, and Jewel Swoosh that's inlaid across the lateral panel. Underfoot, you'll find a sculpted Max Air midsole that hasn't really changed much, if at all, from Eric Avar's original design, and it's fitted with an oversized bubble for comfort and cushioning that's unlike anything else out there.
As mentioned already, the Nike Air Max Penny 1 White Pure Platinum will release sometime in Summer 2023. It'll be available in men's sizes for $180 via Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers globally.
