Since Giannis Antetokounmpo's first signature sneaker launch with Nike in 2019, the basketball world has keenly watched the evolution of the Zoom Freak line, mirroring Giannis's meteoric rise in the NBA. Recognized for his versatility on the court, Giannis and his signature sneakers have always aimed to support the dynamic needs of basketball athletes. Holiday 2024 marks a pivotal moment as we move into a new era, as the series will be undergoing a name change with the sixth iteration, the Nike Giannis Freak 6.
Taking on a monomesh base, we see most of the sneaker doused in a white color palette with accenting hits of black and grey scattered throughout. Besides the base layer, we see white hues land on the leather eyelets and tongue, while the Swoosh on the midfoot comes in a space-like black with white speckle details. Branding for Giannis lands on the tongue while we see the insole feature an Antetokounmpo Worldwide logo. Rounding out the look is the Cushlon 2.0 foam and Air Zoom-cushioned midsole in white paired with a grey rubber outsole.
The Nike Giannis Freak 6 Humility will release on August 16, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and GS sizing, the retail price is set at $140 for men and $105 for GS.
