While many people hope to one day make it into the NBA, those who do reach the pinnacle of professional basketball still strive for more. If you’re lucky enough to reach superstar status, brands like Nike may offer you a signature sneaker line, giving you and your fans an opportunity to rock sneakers that come designed specifically for you. One of the 28 players who currently have a signature model, Kevin Durant, has so far made 15 iterations of his Nike KD series with his latest model set to join a wide roster releases planned for the 2023 NBA All-Star Game as photos of the Nike KD 15 “All-Star” have just emerged.
Coming in its usual construction, the low-top basketball model comes in shades of light orewood brown, metallic gold, sundial, sail, and citron tint across its multi-material makeup. For the base layer, a sail-colored mesh covers most of the sneaker while a TPU exoskeleton on the lateral and medial side of the profile gets a marbled finish with multi-color hits. In the center of this, a golden Nike Swoosh gives off regal vibes while purplish shades take over the sockliner and tongue. More branding details, like the “KD” logo atop the aforementioned tongue, come in gold as well while the insole gets a graphic depicting a sticker used by the archives of Nike Basketball. Back on the heel, a felt material comes in a grey hue while the entire design is rounded out by a white midsole with Zoom Air cushioning paired with a multi-color rubber outsole.
The Nike KD 15 All-Star is set to release on February 16th, 2023 through Nike and select Nike Basketball retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
