The Phoenix Suns have had a solid start to the 2024-2025 NBA season, winning nine out of the first 14 games. Per usual, they’re being led by NBA legend Kevin Durant, who has been taking the court in his 17th signature sneaker with Nike, the Nike KD 17. Following up on the model’s upcoming Aunt Pearl colorway, Nike has prepped a new neutral color scheme, NYE, perfect for end-of-the-year celebrations.
The Nike KD 17 NYE takes on tonal grey, black, and sail hues, and these neutral shades are accented by metallic gold on select portions. These golden pops are found along the KD logos on the tongue and the Swoosh logo on the midfoot. For its base, we see an engineered mesh in a light sail hue that transitions into deeper grey hues as you work back from the toe to the heel. Air Max Plus-inspired TPU overlays reinforce the upper and come dressed in black. Light iron ore is present along the tongue leather tongue, matching the hue of the laces above and the heel overlay. Below sits a Zoom Air-cushioned foam midsole in sail and black paired with a two-tone grey and black rubber outsole.
The Nike KD 17 NYE will release on December 1, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
