Kevin Durant and Nike have a storied history of producing some of the most beloved basketball sneakers, and the KD 4 is often hailed as a pinnacle of the line. The KD 4 has become a fan favorite since its original release with its blend of performance and style. In 2024, Nike began revisiting iconic colorways from the KD 4 lineup, re-releasing classics like the Galaxy and Nerf. In Spring 2025, Nike will continue this trend with the much-anticipated return of the Scoring Title rendition and Entourage pair. A fresh MVP colorway will also debut.
The Nike KD 4 MVP features a striking design that stands out on and off the court. This new colorway boasts a royal blue upper constructed from mesh and leather, providing breathability and durability. Golden accents highlight the Swoosh along the white lockdown strap, while we see more royal blue on the logo, tongue, and sockliner. Inside, the insole features a trophy with KD taking a jumpshot, an homage to Durant's MVP season in 2014. The Zoom Air-cushioned midsole combines white and royal blue hues, getting a gradient finish that transitions between the two hues. Rounding out the design is the blue rubber outsole.
The Nike KD 4 MVP will release in Spring 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
