Kevin Durant's Nike KD 6 is Returning in Spring 2026
Published
Kevin Durant signed a lifetime contract with Nike in 2023, making him the second active NBA player, alongside LeBron James, to receive such a rare and prestigious endorsement deal that ensures his signature line will continue long after his playing days are over. Of course, with the KD sneaker line having been around for nearly two decades, Nike has brought back fan favorites from years prior, starting with the KD 3 and KD 4. Throughout 2023 and 2024, we saw the sneakers launch in original and new colorways, but in 2026, Nike has plans to bring back the Nike KD 6.
Initially launched in 2013, the sneaker presented a radical change from the KD 5, converting the model to a low-top. Like previous Nike KDs, a wide range of colorways marked its original run, with over 30 released between June 2013 and July 2014. During the 2013-14 NBA season, KD had one of his best seasons ever, winning the MVP award and giving his now-iconic “You the real MVP” speech.

Some of the most popular colorways from the KD 6 include the What The, X-Mas, Aunt Pearl, and NOLA Gumbo League. The exact pairs Nike has plans to retro have not been confirmed, but if history repeats itself, expect to see some of the pairs mentioned above alongside new colorways.
The Nike KD 6 will return in Spring 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price has yet to be confirmed.
