One of the most coveted LeBron releases of all-time, the Nike LeBron 9 “Big Bang” was originally released as a part of the most hyped-up All-Star Pack ever, 2012’s “Galaxy” Collection. The collection originally included galaxy-themed editions of the LeBron 9, KD 4, Kobe 7, and Foamposite One. Inspired by the hometown of the 2012 All-Star Game that took place in Orlando, Florida, each pair features colors and designs inspired by outer space. To commemorate the 10th Anniversary of this illustrious footwear collection, one pair from that pack is set for a return in 2022, the Nike LeBron 9.
Nicknamed the “Big Bang” edition, these LeBron’s draw inspiration from the big bang theory that scientifically explains how the universe came to be. Staying true to the OG, the 2022 edition comes in the same total orange, metallic silver, team orange and mango colorway. Featuring various shades of orange throughout the upper. 3M reflective detailing is found via the lock-down lace tab and Swoosh on the sides. Galaxy references adorn the lining, custom printed insoles and outsole plate. Finishing things off for this pair is a custom tongue patch and full glow-in-the-dark outsole.
