When the Nike LeBron 9 Low was originally released in 2012, a limited edition “Liverpool” colorway dropped. This was made to pay homage to the famous English soccer team that LeBron James also owns a minority stake in. That pair sported the team colors of Liverpool FC, complete with the team's emblem on the back heel.
Fresh for Summer 2022, the Nike LeBron 9 Low “Liverpool” is back, but this time, in “Reverse.” Coming in new green, black, action red, and white, the Nike LeBron 9 Low “Reverse Liverpool” flips the script, sporting a green-based upper instead of red. Now an accent color, red and black are found throughout the rest of the design, only split up by a white midsole. Finishing things off is the Liverpool FC logo on the back heels as well as underneath the translucent hit on the bottom of the outsole.
The Nike LeBron 9 Low Reverse Liverpool is set to release overseas on September 17th, 2022. A wider release for the US and the rest of the world will follow on September 21st. It will drop at Nike, as well as select retailers worldwide, both online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, retail is set at $190.
