Back in 2017 or 2018, the Swoosh's skateboarding division decided to drop a pared-back version of the iconic Nike SB Dunk Low with the Decon Collection. An abbreviation of the word "deconstructed," the sneakers featured the same legendary properties as a conventional pair of SBs, but it's all packed within a cleaner and more luxurious bundle that will no doubt turn heads wherever you go. Now, five years later, the Sandy Bodecker sub-brand is set to bring back the line with the Nike SB Dunk Low Decon "Adobe."
Working on top of an intricately woven red canvas construction, this Dunk is reinforced with buttery suede panels that wrap around the lacing system, toe box, and heel in a complementary fiery hue. Crisp white tones feature across the tongue and sockliner for a contrast that is as eye-catching as it gets, and if that wasn't enough, the Zoom Air midsole is housed within a gum rubber unit for traction and durability that knows no bounds. This is the feature that made the original Decon line so unique and special, and we're glad that it's back and better than ever.
The Nike SB Dunk Low Decon Adobe is set to release on February 22nd, 2023, in men's sizes at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select skate shops both online and in-store, worldwide. Retail is set at $110.
