Now in his eighth season as an NBA star, Donovan Mitchell continues pushing forward with his signature sneaker line with adidas, which is currently on its sixth iteration, the DON Issue 6. While Sole Retriever provided an early look at his next sneaker, the DON Issue 7, back in October, we were fortunate enough to be invited to a special event held by adidas for NBA All-Star Weekend. Here, the brand shared looks at the Dame 10 and the DON Issue 7.
The sleek, low-cut silhouette continues forward with adidas’ new avant-garde and futuristic design language that has become a staple of the brand’s signature athletes’ sneakers. The “Camp” colorway is seen here, which takes inspiration from the DON Issue 6 Camp that was given to athletes who attended Donovan’s Elite Camp. A textile base features a curved grid pattern on the toe, adding some reinforcement to the upper, while the zipper shroud up above conceals the laving setup and the neoprene internal bootie.

Logos for adidas are found on the heel and the midfoot, the latter being an abstract take on the Three Stripes design. Mitchell’s Spida logo is placed on the center of the tongue tag and is found on the zipper. Down below, the sneaker is complete with a TPU midfoot shank, a LIGHTSTRIKE PRO cushioning setup, and a multi-directional rubber herringbone traction pattern.
The adidas DON Issue 7 Camp will release July 19, 2025, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
