During the recent debut of his Walt Disney Studio movie Rise, Giannis Antetokounmpo “The Greek Freak” himself, gave everyone an initial sneak peak of his 4th signature shoe, the Nike Zoom Freak 4. While there will be an abundance of offerings, the "Victoria Falls" colorway is the focus for now.
The name for this Zoom Freak 4 colorway comes from the name a waterfall on the Zambezi River in southern Africa. For those who don’t know, Giannis' parents are Nigerian, however he was born and raised in Greece. Giannis generally pays homage to his family and culture on his signature sneakers so this "Victoria Falls" edition makes perfect sense. While white is the dominant color on this Zoom Freak 4, the other color hits are a perfect compliment. Barely Volt on the left tongue logo and Swoosh on the sides, with enamel green via the side panels, right tongue logo, and majority of the tongue. A football grey outsole finishes off the sneaker.
The Nike Zoom Freak 4 Victoria Falls is set to release in September 2022. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and at select retailers online and in-store.
