Originally reported in late 2021, the Nike Zoom LeBron 2 is set for a retro run in 2022. While no official release dates were announced, it was expected that the LeBron 2 would touch down sometime during the later half of the year. As we are six months in, we have our first look at an upcoming LeBron 2 retro.
While the original black, white and varsity crimson, as well as the white and midnight navy pair are confirmed to drop, an all-new colorway will be released alongside them. Nicknamed the “White Metallic Gold” edition, they come in a clean white, varsity crimson, and metallic gold color scheme. Similar in design and looks to the Nike Zoom LeBron 2 “Maccabi” player exclusive originally worn by James during the 2004-05 NBA season, this pair sports a white-based upper with metallic gold accents. The only hit of varsity crimson that we can see so far is via the crown on the classic LeBron logo on the heel.
The Nike Zoom LeBron 2 Maccabi is set to release in September 2022. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and select retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in men’s sizing, retail is set at $215. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
