Winter months often mean sneakerheads must swap out their comfortable, mesh runner-esque silhouette for more rugged models. Nike had a better idea: why not winterize and upgrade the ever-popular Zoom Vomero 5 model? That’s exactly what The Swoosh accomplished with the new Vomero 5 Roam, which first debuted in the Flax colorway earlier this month. Since this first colorway, we’ve seen many options coming in the next few months, from two-tone options like the Elemental Pink Anthracite and Light Bone Mink Brown to the tonal Black Racer Blue colorway. Adding to the Spring 2025 lineup is a new Mink Brown Medium Olive rendition.
The silhouette, which gives off beef and broccoli vibes, comes with a split two-tone design featuring medium olive shades on the bottom and mink brown on the top. Separating these two halves is the rubberized molded mudguard in olive that runs across the entire upper. Moving up from here, you’ll see mink brown shades coat the leather Swoosh, the midfoot panel, and the water-repellent textile base layer. Suede details appear on the toebox and vamp, while more tonal hues of mink brown find a home on the new adjustable lacing system. Other improvements from the OG Vomero 5 include the improved internal construction with extra padding, a reflective heel pull tab, and the rubber toe wrap. The medium olive foam midsole finishes the design with Zoom Air and Cushlon 3.0 foam paired with a tonal rubber outsole.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Roam Mink Brown Medium Olive will release in Spring 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $180.
