The Palace x Dr. Martens 1461 Collection Releases April 2025
Published
Palace has continually made a name in streetwear as the skate brand works with new partners throughout its seasonal offerings. For its latest project, the UK-based label works with fellow UK label Dr. Martens on three colorways of the Dr. Martens 1461.
Inspiration for the collection, which features three colorways, one in Black, another in Woodland Camo, and finally a Cherry Red, comes from the 1988 trend of attaching Grolsch swing-top bottle caps to the 1461 silhouette, which was started by Matt Gross, singer from Bros. Each color has a vintage smooth leather upper and tonal stitching details. We see a yellow Dr. Martens and Palace-branded bottle cap on the lacing setup, an homage to the trend from the late ‘80s.

Inside, the 1461 features a natural leather finish, while the pull tab on the heel undergoes a radical change. For the first time in Dr. Martens’ history, they’ve replaced the AirWair text with Palace, though it maintains the traditional yellow and black palette. Below sits a BEN-lugged sole unit with the iconic yellow welt stitching.
The Palace x Dr. Martens 1461 Collection will release on April 11, 2025, through Palace online and in-store and on Dr. Martens website on April 14. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $170.
