Dating back to 2016, the Humanrace line spearheaded by Pharrell saw success early on for adidas. His take on the NMD was sought after by all, garnering insane resale prices on the original colorways. As time went on, the NMD craze died down, causing Pharrell to expand the line to include his take on classic adidas models and new silhouettes. His latest, the Humanrace Sichona, continues with the introduction of a “Shock Yellow” colorway.
Constructed out of a one-piece primeknit upper, the adidas Humanrace Sichona “Shock Yellow” comes dressed in the aforementioned “Shock Yellow” across the upper. Across the medial side, Humanrace is weaved into the upper in baby blue. The sock-like silhouette features eyelets similar to the adidas Yeezy 450 with knit loops holding the laces in place. Atop the “tongue” an orange branded adidas pull tab lands on the top of where the laces sit. Down on the yellowed TPU midsole, adidas’s innovative futurenatural technology is utilized to provide the most natural walking experience when worn. Rounding out the look, the rubber outsole comes in the same yellow as the rest of the silhouette.
The adidas Humanrace Sichona Shock Yellow is set to release on January 28th, 2022. adidas and select retailers online and in-store will be carrying men's pairs for a retail price of $180. To stay updated on release and raffle information, keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App.
