LaMelo Ball's signature sneaker line with Puma has been instrumental in bringing Puma Basketball back into the spotlight. Since its debut, the line has captured the attention of sneakerheads and basketball fans alike. Building on the success of the basketball silhouettes, LaMelo and Puma are now expanding into lifestyle footwear with the introduction of the Puma LaFrance. This model, first seen in the Amour colorway, is inspired by Y2K skate sneakers like the Osiris and contemporary high-fashion kicks like the Lanvin Curb. The latest addition to this line is the Puma LaFrance Untouchable.
The Puma LaFrance Untouchable showcases a blend of black leather and pink textile on the upper, creating a bold and dynamic look. The pink textile pods along the midfoot add a vibrant contrast to the dominant black leather, making the sneaker stand out. LaFrance branding, a signature element of the model, appears in pink on the vamp, tongue tag, and heel spoiler. The thick black laces and tongue contribute to the sneaker’s sleek and modern design. The look is completed with a rubber midsole with additional branding details for LaMelo Ball, paired with a black and pink outsole that spells out LaFrance in pink.
The Puma LaFrance Untouchable will release on July 5, 2024, through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
