Though he was able to put up a valiant effort through the 2021-2022 NBA season, LaMelo Ball and his teammates on the Charlotte Hornets are out of the playoff picture after their loss in the Play-In-Tournament. First seen at the beginning of the season, his Puma MB.01 has taken the basketball sneaker world by storm. Now, the silhouette comes dressed in a “Galaxy” theme, really driving home the Puma MB.01 and the “Not From Here” branding.
An elektro blue dresses the wings embroidery and plastic fuse overlays across the upper while splattered on the heel of the monomesh upper is a galactic graphic. Placed on the vamp, “Not From Here” branding comes in a bright orange accenting color, located on branding details and the thick laces as well. Back on the heel, “M.E.L.O.” and Puma co-branding continue the bright orange trend, while the sockliner just above comes covered in the previously mentioned galactic print. Rounding out the look is the Nitro foam cushioned midsole in elektro blue set to a green gecko-colored rubber outsole.
The Puma MB.01 Galaxy is set to release on April 29th, 2022 through Puma and select Puma retailers online and in-store. Coming in full-family sizing, the retail price for men’s pairs is set at $125.
