Puma has released a litany of MB.02 styles over the past few months, including this interstellar “Be You Galaxy” rendition in June. The brand doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon even with the release of multiple MB.03 colorways closing in quickly. This MB.02 splashed with a pink and blue gradient is perfect for anyone needing some color in their rotation.
This release takes on the MB.02’s traditional mesh and synthetic overlay construction providing a breathable yet comfortable fit for the basketball court. Pink and blue gradient is spread across the mesh, while shiny pink overlays are blending in with the range of color. A final overlay in black creates Puma’s formstripe logo, sitting right above a pearlescent heel clip featuring LaMelo’s angel wings logo. This same logo in black sits atop the tongue and under the laces, both colored with the same blue seen on the gradient upper. “M.E.L.O.” branding can be found stamped on the back heel in black. Gradient appears once again on the midsole, mimicking the upper’s transition from pink to blue. A translucent outsole carries the color theme all the way down, creating a model that is more coordinated than the name might suggest.
The Puma MB.02 Low “Imbalance” is set to release this summer through Puma and select retailers, online and in-store. Released in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $125.
