Puma’s relationship with LaMelo Ball has birthed a massive hit with the Puma MB series. While we’re about to get our first taste of the MB.03 soon, more colorways of the MB.02 are still on the horizon. For its latest rendition of the second signature sneaker from Ball, Puma applies the colors of LaMelo's Charlotte Hornets to the MB.01 Low Queen City.
This rendition of the Puma MB.02 offers a refreshing aesthetic with its monomesh and TPU construction featuring a gradient pattern that fades from teal at the toe to purple at the heel. An intriguing honeycomb pattern graces the purple mesh near the back half. The lateral side showcases the phoenix wings logo in vibrant teal, symbolizing LaMelo's rapid rise in the sport. White branding accents the sneaker, popping against the vivid background. A split-tone tongue in teal and purple enhances the overall design. This all sits atop a midsole with the same teal and purple palette and a white outsole.
The Puma MB.02 Low Queen City will release July 7 through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
