Something almost no one saw coming, Puma delivering a hit performance basketball silhouette with an NBA player finally came true once LaMelo Ball’s Puma MB line was introduced. Already onto the second iteration of the signature series, the Puma MB.02 has been spotted in various colorways, both collaborative and inline, with more coming our way in 2023. Contrasting the simple color combo seen on the “White Red Black,” an all-over “Teal” rendition has just been spotted.
Constructed out of a lightweight and breathable Monomesh upper, the entire upper comes in a light teal shade with TPU around the toe receiving a shinier version of this same shade. Tonal laces match the tongue and come contrasted by the gold “1” and phoenix branding on the vamp and tongue respectively, however, this same shade also takes over the top four eyelets. Piercing from the teal upper, the TPU overlays along the lateral midfoot make up a wings design and Puma formstrip while the medial side features more gold hits on a similar wings design. Underfoot sits the teal midsole that encapsulates Nitro foam cushioning while the grippy semi-translucent rubber outsole below completes the look.
The Puma MB.02 Honeycomb is set to release on March 10th, 2023 through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
