LaMelo Ball and Puma recently introduced the world to the latest performance basketball sneaker in the MB lineup, the MB.04. Even with plenty of colorways coming our way on the new model, Puma and Ball aren’t leaving behind the MB.03, as images have just emerged of an all-new rendition themed after Halloween.
Aside from the obvious orange and black color palette leaning into the spooky season’s aesthetics, this MB.03 sees an updated pattern on the upper to pay homage to the holiday. Instead of the multiple scratch marks, a large lightning bolt cut-out is present on the midfoot to reveal the black monomesh base, while the toebox sees a Jack O’Lantern-like mouth design. These black panels contrast the orange paneling across the upper, which sees a black marbled pattern applied, while more true orange is found on the lace set, tongue, sockliner, and heel. LaMelo and Puma branding remain in their original spots, including along the toe, tongue, and heel. However, the heel now features “Trick or Treat” text below the Melo and Puma logos. The orange foam midsole with a clear orange-tinted rubber midsole that partially wraps up on the midfoot is rounding out the design.
The Puma MB.03 Halloween will release on October 4, 2024, through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
