The original Alien Stomper, first seen in the 1986 film Aliens, has become a cult favorite among sneakerheads and sci-fi enthusiasts. This latest collaboration revives the retro aesthetic of the Alien Stomper, adding a modern twist while staying true to the original's spirit.
The Alien Romulus x Reebok sneaker features a design inspired by classic '80s basketball sneakers, incorporating elements that reflect the Alien Stomper's iconic look. The upper is crafted from white leather, covering the mudguard, toe, midfoot, and eyestays. Grey leather accents the puffy collar and heel, strikingly contrasting the predominantly white design. Reebok branding is prominently displayed on the midfoot and tongue, ensuring the brand's legacy is front and center.
The sneaker also features red straps on the tongue, a matching red lace set, and a midfoot overlay, adding a pop of color that enhances the overall aesthetic. The pre-distressed finish gives the sneaker a worn-in look, reminiscent of the rugged, utilitarian gear seen in the Alien films.
