LaMelo Ball is having an All-Star season for the Charlotte Hornets. His debut signature basketball sneaker with Puma, the Puma MB.01 debuted in December of 2021. Here in 2022, LaMelo and Puma are ready to drop new colorways of the MB.01 along with a special edition inspired by one of his favorite shows.
Made in collaboration with Adult Swim, Puma and Warner Bros. Consumer Products have partnered up to drop a Rick and Morty Collection. The animated series that follows a grandfather (Rick) and his otherworldly adventures with his grandson (Morty) became one of the most popular shows since it debuted in 2013. While fans wait for Season 6 to debut later this year (hopefully), Puma Hoops has our Rick and Morty itch scratched with a limited edition MB.01 collab.
LaMelo’s Rick and Morty x Puma MB.01 comes in a mis-matched color scheme. The all-pink right shoe represents Morty while the all-lime green left shoe represents Rick. The style also conveys LaMelo’s “Not From Here” style. Details include the Rick and Morty “Portal” on the tongue, Rick and Morty branding under the eye stays and custom Rick and Morty faces found on the inside tongue of their respective sides. Each pair comes in special packaging with accompanying apparel releasing as well.
The Rick and Morty x Puma MB.01 is set to release on February 18th, 2022. It will launch at Puma as well as Foot Locker both in-stores and online.
