LaMelo Ball will hopefully remain healthy for the 2024-2025 NBA season, as his last few years have been riddled with injury. Puma is likely hoping for a healthy Melo as well, as the brand has just introduced the latest signature sneaker from its lineup, the MB.04, and has plenty of colorways on the horizon. Now, the new MB.04 model is coming as part of an upcoming Scooby-Doo collection, which has already been spotted on the Puma Suede XL.
The Mystery Machine’s color palette inspires this MB.04 colorway, with the upper taking on green, blue, and orange shades across the design. Alien tentacle-inspired overlays run across the toebox and form various branding details for LaMelo, including 1 Of One and RARE, while the midfoot hosts a Puma formstrip in orange and floral details from the Scooby-Doo crew’s van. Further branding for Melo is found on the tongue, which features yellow panels accented by orange details, while a depiction of Scooby-Doo playing basketball is placed on the heel tab. Underfoot, the midsole features a blue and green finish, cushioned with Nitro Foam throughout. Finishing the design is the tonal rubber outsole.
The Scooby-Doo x Puma MB.04 will release on November 27, 2024, through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Available in full-family sizing, the retail price is set at $135 for men, $115 in GS, and $90 in PS.
