Since 2000, size? has been providing UK consumers a one-stop-shop experience for the newest releases in sneakers. Fortunately, the retailers have been given multiple opportunities to collaborate with some of the brands they stock in their locations, one of which has been New Balance. With their last collab coming via a pack of NB550s, the retailer will host an exclusive drop of two upcoming New Balance 1906R colorways.
The often underlooked silhouette comes dressed in a sandwich mesh upper with leather overlays creating various panels throughout. Two colorways are showcased in this teaser post with one coming completely draped in a "Mint Green" shade with accenting black details found around the toe and midfoot while the other comes in a mix of orange, blue, silver, and white. On the latter of the two pairs, the entire midfoot’s leather overlays come in white, accenting the navy N logo as well as the black and grey mesh found below. Back on the heel, a plastic overlay acts as a heel counter, aiding the durability of this lifestyle model. Underfoot, the midsole and outsole borrow from the ever-popular 2002R.
The size? x New Balance 1906R Green Black is set to release on February 16th, 2023 exclusively through size? online and in-store. The second pair in the pack currently has no confirmed release date, however, expect the pair to launch in the near future. Coming in both men's and women's sizing, the retail price is set at £140.00 (approx $170 USD).
