Delving into the design, the Staple x Puma Suede Dark Chocolate boasts a luxurious chocolate brown suede upper, setting a rich backdrop for its intricate details. Gold and red metallic accents provide vivid contrasts, highlighting select areas of the shoe. The tongue prominently features a metallic gold yin-yang symbol wrapped in an olive branch, which also graces the insole. Puma's signature stripe gets dipped in red with the “Puma Suede” text featuring Staples’ pigeon logo. A powerful tribute to the Cali-based Asian-American newspaper, Gidra, the shoe's lateral heel debosses its name, paying homage to its pivotal role during the civil rights movement. This gesture aligns seamlessly with both Staple and Puma branding.
