Stray Rats Is Dropping Two New Balance 991s In December

The US streetwear brand has partnered back up with Boston-based retailer New Balance to end 2021 the same way it started, with a limited footwear collaboration. A follow-up to their 574s (Red & Green), this time around Stray Rats cooks up two New Balance 991s. These Made in England kicks come in either brown/grape or black/violet.
Both pairs of the Stray Rats x New Balance 991s feature premium material throughout. The “Brown” pair has purple, beige and grey accents along with a neon N logo on the sides and lime green liner. The “Black” pair features grey and beige accents along with purple hits on the N logo on the sides and liner. 3M reflective detailing and custom Stray Rats branding on the toe cap and insoles round things out for each pair.
The Stray Rats x New Balance 991 in both “Brown” and “Black” are set to release in December 2021. It will launch at Stray Rats as well as select retailers in-store and online. UPDATE 12/10: Stray Rats is releasing the Stray Rats x New Balance 991s via a raffle. The raffle will run from 12pm-9pm EST on December 10th, 2021. Following the Stray Rats release there will be a global release on December 17th, 2021. Style codes, retail pricing and official colorways have all been updated.
