Korean-based fashion label The Museum Visitor has rapidly made a name for itself in the fashion world since its inception in 2016 by Moonsu Park. Drawing inspiration from contemporary art, the label has successfully ventured into the footwear industry with past collaborations with Vans and Asics. Building on this momentum, The Museum Visitor is set to release an exclusive pack featuring the popular Asics Gel-Kayano 14.
The Museum Visitor x Asics Gel-Kayano 14 pack includes three distinct colorways: Silver Blue, Black Grey, and Cream Yellow. Each pair showcases a gradient effect on select portions, constructed with mesh, leather, and TPU materials. Leather overlays adorn the toe, midfoot, and heel, with the latter displaying a gradient pattern and The Museum Visitor branding on the lateral side.
The Asics Tiger Stripe logo on the midfoot also features a gradient transition from lighter to darker shades towards the heel. A standout feature added by The Museum Visitor is the Asics tongue shroud, which covers the top part of the laces and comes in a tonal finish across all three colorways. Inside, split branding for Asics and The Museum Visitor is found on the right and left shoes. Completing the look is a gradient midsole paired with a tonal rubber outsole that exhibits a similar gradient pattern, ensuring both style and performance.
The Museum Visitor x Asics Gel-Kayano 14 Pack will release exclusively in Korea on July 25, 2024 through The Museum Visitor and select retailers. A wider drop via Asics will take place on August 16, 2024. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
