As the basketball season nears, the sneaker industry sees the debut of various signature models. In a class of his own, LaMelo Ball stands out not just with his on-court prowess but with his rapidly expanding sneaker portfolio in collaboration with Puma. As fans might recall, Ball's Puma MB.03 first came into the limelight not as a conventional release but via an NFT drop in partnership with Gutter Cat Gang. Now, alongside inline renditions like the “La France” and “Hills,” a new "Toxic" edition has emerged.
The Puma MB.03 in its Toxic colorway is a visual delight, splashed in an all-over purple shade with contrasting hits of pink and green. The shoe's upper showcases a harmonious blend of TPU and engineered mesh, adorned with distinct Melo branding on both the tongue and heel. Its striking pink scratches along the midfoot match the shoe's Nitro Foam-infused midsole. Rounding everything out is the green rubber outsole that creeps up onto the upper along the lateral side.
The Puma MB.03 Toxic will release October 20, 2023 through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, retail is set at $140.
