Legendary LA-based retailer UNDEFEATED has a storied history with Nike and its various subsidiaries. While we’ve heard rumors that Jordan Brand and UNDEFEATED are coming together next year to revive their grail-status Air Jordan 4, the retailer is working on a Converse collab as an ode to LA on the One Star Academy Pro.
Featuring two colorways, one in Brown Egret and the other in Black, both pairs come with a velvet upper in the titular hue, covering the toe, tongue, eyestays, midfoot, and collar. Peeking through the midfoot chevron logo is a heavy-duty canvas in an accenting hue, matching the shade of the canvas stripes lining the star design. UNDEFEATED branding comes placed atop the tongue, the lace aglets, and on the insole of the right shoe. Below this sits a vulcanized rubber midsole with UNDEFEATED’s five-strike logo near the lateral toe paired with a gum outsole on the Brown Egret pair and black on the Black pair.
The UNDEFEATED x Converse One Star Academy Pro Pack will release on October 24, 2024, through Converse, Nike SNKRS, and UNDEFEATED in-store and online.
