Near the end of 2024, Damian Lillard and adidas inked a deal that will keep the NBA superstar forever connected to the Three Stripes as he signed a lifetime contract. With this, we can expect to see Lillard expand his reach from performance basketball into the realm of lifestyle, which is exactly what the duo has planned for 2025’s NBA All-Star celebrations. Alongside an upcoming Dame 9 colorway, Dame is launching an exclusive colorway of the Superstar themed after his Dame Time tagline.
Dame keeps things simple for this special makeup version of the adidas Superstar, opting for a color palette that would go perfectly with his Milwaukee Bucks uniform. Cream shades are featured on the tumbled leather upper and rubber toecap, contrasting the green leather on the Three Stripes and heel tab. Pops of gold mark the branding details, seen on the lace dubrae, tongue tag, Superstar text on the lateral midfoot, and the custom logos for Dame stamped on the heel.
The lateral side adds a D logo that mimics a dollar sign, a nod to Dame’s rap persona, Dame Dolla, while the medial side features a clock with the logo at the top, obviously referencing the Dame Time tagline. Inside the tongue is another homage to Lillard and his hometown, as adidas writes, “To: Damian Lillard From: Oakland With Love.” The timing couldn’t be any more perfect, as the NBA All-Star Game is taking place in the Bay Area this year.
Damian Lillard’s adidas Superstar Dame Time will release on February 13, 2025, exclusively through Shoe Palace online, while an in-person drop will take place from the 13th to the 16th at Shoe Palaces’ MacArthur location in San Fran.
