During the initial rollout and reveal of Devin Booker's first signature sneaker, the Nike Book 1, Devin wore a variety of PE renditions that, at the time, were expected to remain exclusive to the Suns superstar. One pair paid homage to his high school, Moss Point, and the colorway is now expected to hit shelves in April.
Identical to the pair Booker wore back in November 2023, the colorway comes with a mixture of canvas twill, leather, and suede, primarily coated in a barely grey color palette. This shade takes over the leather toebox, mudguard, Swoosh, collar, and the canvas twill midfoot panel, while suede on the vamp and eyelets come in a tan finish. Special nods to Bookers high school, Moss Point, are found on the tongue tag, replicating the size tag of an Air Force 1. Fitting as Booker previously paid homage to the school through a special Air Force 1 Low in 2019.

Black embroidered text reading “Yes, Ma’am” is found on the metallic silver heel counter, another nod to Booker’s AF1. Finishing the branding on the upper are the black details on the book spine-inspired pull tab on the heel, with Chapter One text written on the spine and 96, a nod to Booker's birthyear of 1996, found on the top. Finishing the sneaker is the cream rubber midsole paired with a white rubber outsole. It's also important to note that this early look showcases the "EP" version of the Book 1, which uses a solid rubber outsole, but the pair that will hit retail in the US will come with a translucent outsole.
The Nike Book 1 Moss Point releases April 1, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
