An institution in the footwear world for over a century, Packer, the retailer based in New Jersey, has had the pleasure of collaborating with dozens of partners on footwear releases over the years. Several more recent projects have been spearheaded by Victor Kan, the current brand director at Packer, but his time with the company is ending. In what will be his final project with the retailer, Kan has helped create the upcoming Packer x Timberland 3-Eye Handsewn Boat Shoe.
Packer utilizes Timberland’s 3-Eye Lug Handsewn Boat Shoe to pay homage to the landscapes and craftsmanship of the American Southwest. A two-tone suede upper is applied in shades of brown/tan, featuring sawtooth skirts on the edges of the toebox, midfoot, and heel. Concho rivets and whipstitching around the toe complement the bolo-tie turquoise lace lock and braided leather laces that come with silver aglets. Helping finish the design are co-branded terra-cotta leather insoles and the classic sole unit seen on the 3-Eye Handsewn Boat Shoe.
The Packer x Timberland 3-Eye Handsewn Boat Shoe Santa Fe will release on March 28, 2025, exclusively through Packer online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $198.
