The Jakob A. Ingebrigtsen x Nike Running Collection Releases May 2025

Nike’s roots in performance running have always made it the premier destination for sports professionals, as many of the greatest runners have inked a deal with The Swoosh. For Jakob A. Ingebrigtsen, the Norwegian runner who has set numerous records over the years, including becoming the youngest person, at 16 years old, to run a sub-4-minute mile, the 2000 meter world record in 2023, and recently becoming the first man ever to run a sub-3:30 indoor 1500m race. To honor the young prodigy, who is only 24 years old, Nike will give Jakob a collection of Nike running sneakers.

Working on five different sneakers, including the Pegasus 41, Zoom Victory 2, Zoom Fly 6, Vaporfly 4, and Dragonfly 2 Elite, Jakob has applied a similar color palette that includes medium ash, metallic gold, summit white, light silver, and sail. As of this writing, only images of the Dragonfly 2 Elite have appeared. Here, we see sail shade dominate the silhouette, with golden accents on the Swoosh on the midfoot and on the star graphic on the insole. The spiked outsole with a forefoot Flyplate features an iridescent finish, while Jakob's presence is reserved for the packaging, containing his name and a quote inside the box.

The Jakob A. Ingebrigtsen x Nike Running Collection will release on May 15, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $150 for the Peg 41, $190 for the Zoom Victory 2, $180 for the Zoom Fly 6, $270 for the Vaporfly 4, and $200 for the Dragonfly 2 Elite.
