Korean streetwear label thisisneverthat has been on a collaborative tear in the last year, working with multiple footwear brands on different projects. Outside of their upcoming New Balance 1000 and their previously released Converse One Star Pro, the label has a history of working with boot maker Timberland, launching a Beef and Broccoli 6-Inch boot in 2023. Now for the duo’s second collaborative project, the Moc Toe GTX Mid gets a thisisneverthat makeover.
The silhouette features a soft, hairy suede upper with a Gore-Tex membrane lining that gives the boot a waterproof finish. The hairy suede, which covers almost all the paneling, comes in a light grey finish, contrasting the black leather along the collar and sockliner. Tonal laces add to the monochromatic look, while metallic features grace the eyelets and the Gore-Tex branding near the midfoot.
An added hangtag also features the same grey suede finish and comes with branding for thisisneverthat and Timberland. Underfoot, the pair comes complete with a blacked-out midsole and outsole.
The thisisneverthat x Timberland Moc Toe GTX Mid releases on November 28, 2024, exclusively through thisisneverthat online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
