Adidas EQT (or Equipment) line was created by Peter Moore and Robert Strasser following a visit to the company’s headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany in 1991. In the early 90’s, Adidas was seriously struggling; the brand was losing their footing in the market and needed a jumpstart. The EQT line resurrected the company by introducing four fresh silhouettes: the EQT Running Guidance, the EQT Running Support, the EQT Running Cushion, and the EQT Racing.
