New Balance’s Made in UK collection expanded when the brand upgraded the illustrious 991 silhouette in October 2023. Since its initial launch in collaboration with Stone Island, we’ve seen a variety of GR renditions and collabs from various partners, including one with Dover Street Market, commemorating the London Marathon in 2024. The DSM x NB duo are back at it again on the sneaker, launching a Triple Black colorway.
Not too far off from the other two all-black 991v2, the inline Triple Black and the Stone Island iteration, the sneaker is coated in various dark black and dark grey shades. Premium pigskin suede constructs the mudguard, midfoot, collar, and heel overlays, while grey leather hits the toebox panels and the tongue labels. Below this sits a black, breathable mesh base.

Things remain standard on the upper as the branding details throughout are untouched, including the midfoot N logo, the New Balance Made in England text on the tongue, and the 991 label on the lateral heel of the right shoe. However, the left shoe replaces the 991 embroidery with DSM, a clear nod to the famed retailer. Underfoot sits a blacked-out foam midsole featuring Abzorb and FuelCell cushioning tech and a black rubber outsole.
The Dover Street Market x New Balance 991v2 Made in UK Triple Black will February 21, 2025, through Dover Street Market online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $250.
