The Nike LeBron 15 (XV) originally released in 2017, and it was some of Jason Petrie’s best work from an innovative standpoint. Two new technologies were introduced on the LeBron 15: Battleknit, a Flyknit fabric engineered exclusively for King James, and a fused Zoom/Max Air unit— both were equally mind-blowing! Nike created a Flyknit material strong enough to withstand the explosiveness of the King himself, and Nike combined two of their signature Air units into one.
