Ken Link played off the “King James” moniker and released the royalty-inspired LeBron 5 (V) in 2007. The LeBron 5 strayed away from the traditional Foamposite shell, however, it did utilize a Phyposite endoskeleton support system, which is a fusion of Phylon and Foamposite.
