Parisian fashion house Jacquemus is no stranger to the footwear industry. Most famously, the brand partnered with Nike on a series of different releases, spanning staple silhouettes like the Nike Air Force 1 and Air Max 1, the former redone in a high-fashion design. Ahead of the Nike Moon Shoe project in Fall 2025, they’re partnering with Timberland to give the 3-Eye Lug Boat Shoe a banana yellow makeover.
Officially titled La Bateau (translating from French to The Boat), Jacquemus applies premium leather in Simon Porte’s, the founder of Jacquemus's personal favorite hue — banana yellow. This covers every panel on the upper, including the mudguard, toebox, midfoot panel, collar, and tongue. Metallic Gold Jacquemus-branded lace aglets sit at the end of the thick square lace set, rendered in banana yellow.

Moving inside, the premium suede and leather paneling continues the yellow shades, as does the co-branded Timberland and Jacquemus insole. More metallic Jacquemus logos are found on the lace aglets near the collar. The traditional 3-Eye Lug Boat Shoe sole unit finishes the design in a natural brown shade.
The Jacquemus x Timberland 3-Eye Lug Boat Shoe La Bateau will release on April 23, 2025, through Jacquemus, Timberland, and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $250. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
