Once the signature sneaker of the legendary Kobe Bryant and a sneaker steeped in sneaker history, the adidas Crazy 8 is set for another exciting year. After its successful revival in 2023, adidas continues to captivate fans with new interpretations of this classic model. Alongside a retro of the iconic All-Star Game colorway, adidas has a new Grey Royal pair on the horizon.
The adidas Crazy 8 Grey Royal features a sophisticated grey suede on the toe, portions of the midfoot, and the collar, exuding a sleek and refined appearance. The grey theme continues with the inclusion of nylon fabric, which adds texture and durability to the heel tab, further enhanced by contrasting white accents. The palette is boldly interrupted by striking royal blue highlights, which adorn the midfoot and sockliner, injecting a vibrant pop of color into the design.
The sneaker's branding elements are thoughtfully placed and colored for maximum impact. The adidas logo appears in red on the lateral side, creating a visual contrast against the grey backdrop. On the medial side, the sneaker features the adidas FYW (Feet You Wear) logo, rendered in the same royal blue that highlights other parts of the design. Completing the design is a white and royal blue EVA-cushioned midsole paired with a matching rubber outsole.
The adidas Crazy 8 Grey Royal will release in 2024 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and GS sizing, the retail price for men’s pairs is set at $140. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app for the latest updates on this release and more.
